Writer's Block

Good morning!

My writing has been pretty intense lately. I'm working on the first draft of a short story titled, "Writer's Block."

It's the story of Morgan Montgomery, a young romance writer struggling with writer's block. She has an idea of what the story is about, but is having trouble coming up with an opening paragraph that will captivate her readers. Her life becomes surreal as she is suddenly thrown into the middle of the criminal investigation. She is the only eye witness and throws herself into the investigation much to the chagrin of the lead detective. He knows he's the only one who can protect her from a drug dealing crime boss.
