I'm working on creating a monthly newsletter. Details to follow shortly. Stay tuned... Later this month I will be putting on a workshop for a writer's guild at a local library. I am always interested in helping other writers learn the craft whether it is writing romances, mystery/suspense, or my favorite, romantic suspense. Or, for those who want to write just for the fun of it. Keeping a journal is a good way to spur creative juices and create fun and exciting places to visit. It's also a way to begin your memoirs. I have a book I've been putting together of family stories. For instance, I remember my mother telling me about when her family would go to Grand Portage to pick berries. My grandfather would have to have the car overhauled, buy new tires, and change the oil before they left. They would have to pack a lunch for the day long trip. Today, the same trip takes only two and a half hours! My mother was a great storyteller!

Kiss or Kill Under the Northern Lights is an anthology of seven contemporary romance and romantic suspense short stories written by members of the Northern Lights Writers. It will be available in September 2018. More details to follow...
It's getting close to the release date of the anthology, Kiss or Kill Under the Northern Lights - Vol. 2. I've been doing final edits and getting the information off to our publisher, Melange Books. It has been a wonderful and challenging experience.
Now that summer is finally here, it's difficult to sit down at the computer when I look out the window and see the sun shining. I went out a couple of weeks ago and took some pictures of scenes for my next novel, Rescue Me. The work has slowed down a bit, but I'll be up and running soon. Talk again soon! |
