It's been a busy week. First of all, my 7 year old computer died so had to buy a new one. Now I need to transfer all of my documents and programs to the new one. Whew! But it's going well and I should be finished by later this evening. The weather is great today and I managed to step away from the computer for a couple of hours and get outside. It's great to see the sun. I'm also making final edits on Writer's Block, getting ready for publication later this summer.
Work on my next novel, Rescue Me is coming along nicely. I hope you'll be pleased when it comes out next year. I'll keep you posted as the release date. I hope you enjoy your summer. Planning on a couple of road trips myself to get more story ideas and take some photos. Keep an eye on my site! Thanks for reading. Please feel free to leave comments, questions, etc.

It has taken me a while, but my website is ready to be published and available. Being new at building a website, it has been a long and arduous journey, but fun at the same time. I have to admit, I did need help. My daughter graciously offered her assistance. I hope you like it and will come back often.
Later this summer, I will have a short story published in an anthology called "Kiss or Kill Under The Northern Lights." My story, Writer's Block, is about a young writer named, Morgan Montgomery who is looking for an opening for her new mystery novel, but when she crosses paths with Detective John Gomez, her story falls to the back burner. When her life is threatened, she finds she needs John for more than just a storyline. She needs him to save her life. Can a mystery novelist and a handsome detective join forces to solve the crime that brought them together? Will Morgan find more than just a story in the dark, cinnamon-colored eyes of the handsome detective who stole her heart? Good morning!
My writing has been pretty intense lately. I'm working on the first draft of a short story titled, "Writer's Block." It's the story of Morgan Montgomery, a young romance writer struggling with writer's block. She has an idea of what the story is about, but is having trouble coming up with an opening paragraph that will captivate her readers. Her life becomes surreal as she is suddenly thrown into the middle of the criminal investigation. She is the only eye witness and throws herself into the investigation much to the chagrin of the lead detective. He knows he's the only one who can protect her from a drug dealing crime boss. Coming in 2018! |
